Run Devil Run is the eleventh solo Studio album Paul McCartney, released in 1999. The album includes cover versions of known and lesser-known songs of the 1950-ies in the style of "rock-n-roll" and three new songs written by McCartney in the same style. Since this album was created after the death of his first wife Linda McCartney, who died in 1998, Paul felt the need to "return to the roots" and play the music he loved as a teenager. 14 Dec 1999, Paul McCartney took the stage of the Liverpool club the Cavern Club where he began his career in the early 1960s, along with other members of The Beatles, and played a programme consisting of all the songs on the album.
