JEFFERSON AIRPLANE-AFTER BATHING AT BAXTER'S-1967 - FIRST PRESS USA-RCA-LSO1511. Very rare original cult album. After Bathing at Baxter's is the third Studio album by American rock band Jefferson Airplane, released in 1967 on RCA Records. Unlike the album Surrealistic Pillow, released in the same year earlier, After Bathing at Baxter's has a stronger psychedelic sound and does not contain commercial pop songs like "Somebody to Love" appearing on the second album and a fully formed first. Jefferson Airplane began playing rock much harder than what was played earlier.The album is divided into five parts, includes a few experimental tracks such as the nine-minute instrumental "Spare Chaynge" and the song grace slick "rejoyce", a homage to the James Joyce novel "Ulysses".
