But after an unsuccessful attempt to form his own band Shotgun, he moved to the United States, where he gave several concerts as part of the Ken Hensley Band and released his third solo album Free Spirit in 1980 Ken recorded his third solo album, "Free Spirit", in 1980 after leaving Uriah Heep. BAD COMPANY-ROUGH DIAMONDS-1982-FIRST PRESS USA-SWAN SONG-90001-1. A rare American original rock and Blues band. Rough Diamonds is the sixth Studio album by English rock band Bad Company. The album was released in August 1982. Rough Diamonds, like its predecessor, Desolation Angels, was recorded at Ridge Farm studios in Surrey, England, in March and April 1982, and engineered by max Norman (known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne). It was the last album by the original Bad Company line-up and the most recent Studio album to feature Paul Rogers. The album's debut track, "Electricland", written by Rogers, became the album's biggest hit. The track "Painted face" Rogers on the air rock stations spun day and night. The album became the best-selling album (gold) of the original line-up, reaching a disappointing No. 26 on the Billboard album charts in 1982.  ...more

JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE-ELECTRIC LADYLAND-1968 ORIGINAL PRESS 1973 UK-POLYDOR - 2310269-70. A very early reissue of the album with a re-recorded sound. Electric Ladyland is the third and final album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1968.Recording the album was accompanied by constant difficulties. After a troubled tour of Scandinavia and England, Hendricks decided to move to the US. Disillusioned with the creative limitations of record companies, he set up his own Studio in new York city, where he could implement all his musical ideas. The construction of the Studio was accompanied by problems, and its construction was finally completed only in the mid-70s.As a result, Jimi recorded the bulk of the material at the Record Plant studios. Due to difficulties in his relationship with the band's bassist, Noel reading, Jimi played most of the bass guitar parts himself, including the bass solo on "1983". During the recording of "All Along the Watchtower", reading went to a nearby bar, Hendrix took his bass and recorded the song."Voodoo Chile "was recorded during Hendrix's late-night jam session featuring Mitch Mitchell, Steve Winwood on Hammond organ, and Jack Casady on bass guitar; it served as the basis for" Voodoo Child (Slight Return)", recorded the following day. The double album "Electric Ladyland" revealed the full breadth of Hendrix's musical talent. It includes samples of every genre of music from psychedelia ("Burning of the Midnight Lamp") to Blues guitar jam ("Voodoo Chile"), 50s-style rock and roll ("Little Miss Strange") and the epic" A Merman I Should Turn to Be", which can be considered an early example of progressive rock. Co-produced by johnny Sandlin and the band, the album was released in August 1973 in the United States by Capricorn Records.  On the cover of the album depicts a photo of Valora Trucks, son of drummer Butch Trucks and his wife Linda. The back cover features a photo of Brittany Oakley, daughter of berry Oakley and his wife, Linda. The album represented The allmans ' commercial peak: it sold more than seven million copies worldwide, ranking at the time in the top 200 pop albums for five weeks. "Ramblin' Man " became the band's first and only hit, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1973.
