The album sold about two million copies, and was certified gold in the United States by the RIAA. After the album was released, the band went on a world tour. The album is ranked number 62 on DigitalDreamDoor's list of the 100 greatest heavy metal albums (DDD). "Balls to the Wall" was ranked 38th on VH1's "40 greatest metal songs" list and 28th on VH1's "40 worst metal songs"list.  ...more

KLAUS VOORMANN-DECIDE OF ETERNITY-1973-LITHOGRAPH LIMITED 29/260-GERMANY.  A rare signature limited-edition lithograph by KLAUS VOORMAN is called "the Decade of eternity" . He created it in 1973 during the period of life in America. Longing for the years of the BEATLES ' existence, he draws a work where he put a piece of each BEATLES album. Klaus Voormann; b. April 29, 1938, Berlin-German Grammy award-winning artist, well-known musician and record producer. He created graphic works for the design of recordings of many musical groups, including the Beatles, the Bee Gees, Wet Wet Wet and Turbonegro. His best-known work as a producer is with the band Trio, including their world-famous hit "Da Da Da". As a musician, foreman is best known as the bass player for the Manfred Mann band from 1966 to 1969, and for participating as a session musician in recording sessions for many bands and artists, including former members of the Beatles. His acquaintance and collaboration with the Beatles dates back to their performances in Hamburg in the early 1960s. Later in London, he lived in the band's apartment with George Harrison and Ringo Starr, after John Lennon and Paul McCartney moved out of it to live with their then partners. Foreman created the cover art for the album Revolver, for which he was awarded a Grammy award in 1966 for "Best Album Cover, Graphic Arts"; this was the first time that anyone was awarded for a cover with a drawing rather than a photo. After the band split, rumors circulated about forming an ensemble called the Ladders with Lennon, Harrison, Starr, and foreman (instead of McCartney on bass). The rumors didn't come true, except that all four failed Ladders (along with Billy Preston) participated in Ringo Starr's recording of the song "I'm the Greatest" written for Starr by Lennon, which was included on the Ringo album. Foreman played on albums by Lennon, Harrison, Starr, and was a member of the Plastic Ono Band for a while. Co-produced by johnny Sandlin and the band, the album was released in August 1973 in the United States by Capricorn Records.  On the cover of the album depicts a photo of Valora Trucks, son of drummer Butch Trucks and his wife Linda. The back cover features a photo of Brittany Oakley, daughter of berry Oakley and his wife, Linda. The album represented The allmans ' commercial peak: it sold more than seven million copies worldwide, ranking at the time in the top 200 pop albums for five weeks. "Ramblin' Man " became the band's first and only hit, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1973. The album was released in August 1982. Rough Diamonds, like its predecessor, Desolation Angels, was recorded at Ridge Farm studios in Surrey, England, in March and April 1982, and engineered by max Norman (known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne). It was the last album by the original Bad Company line-up and the most recent Studio album to feature Paul Rogers. The album's debut track, "Electricland", written by Rogers, became the album's biggest hit. The track "Painted face" Rogers on the air rock stations spun day and night. The album became the best-selling album (gold) of the original line-up, reaching a disappointing No. 26 on the Billboard album charts in 1982.  ...more
