Emotional Rescue is the 15th British and 17th American Studio album by The Rolling Stones, released in 1980. After the success of the previous album Some Girls, which became their biggest hit to date, The Rolling Stones returned to the Studio in early 1979, to begin writing and to write its sequel. Members Mick Jagger (vocals), Keith Richards (guitar), Ronnie wood (guitar), bill Wyman (bass guitar) and Charlie watts (drums) joined by frequent collaborators Ian Stewart (guitar), Nicky Hopkins (keyboards), Bobby keys (saxophone) and sugar blue (harmonica).After the release, he topped the charts in at least six countries, including the US, UK and Canada. In 1988, the band drew the attention of German producer Lothar Meid (on the recommendation of the producer of the Scorpions Olaf Schretter). He does offer to release the record in Germany, and recorded in Munich's first English-language CD called "Кruiz". The album was released in August 1982. Rough Diamonds, like its predecessor, Desolation Angels, was recorded at Ridge Farm studios in Surrey, England, in March and April 1982, and engineered by max Norman (known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne). It was the last album by the original Bad Company line-up and the most recent Studio album to feature Paul Rogers. The album's debut track, "Electricland", written by Rogers, became the album's biggest hit. The track "Painted face" Rogers on the air rock stations spun day and night.
