The album was originally planned to be released in 1990, after 18 concerts Eric in the beginning of the year, but the musician was dissatisfied with the recorded material and the gate 24 Nights was delayed. A rare British second edition of the cult album in prog music.  Fish Rising is the debut solo album by British progressive guitarist Steve Hillage, recorded and released in 1975. The album was recorded on the eve of hillage's departure from Gong, and many artists on this album represent The band, including bassist Mike Howlett, drummer Pierre Merlin, keyboardist Tim Blake, and saxophonist Didier Malherbe. Hilledge wrote some of the material for his former band Khan, and in the lyrics and sound, Hilledge also developed the ideas and mythology of Gong.
