Freddie King (real name Frederick Christian King) (September 3, 1934-December 28, 1976) was an American blues guitarist and singer. He is best known for his recordings of the 1960s, particularly his renditions of such hits as "Hide Away" and "Have You Ever Loved a Woman". Freddie King influenced the English musicians who created blues rock in the 60s.
