Deep Purple/ Rainbow bassist Roger Glover co-produced with Gallagher.: This was the first time Gallagher had worked with a "named" producer, and the only successful such collaboration. The album is considered one of Gallagher's best studio works, and Allmusic gives the album 4.5 stars out of 5.

The original exhaust cover (designed by Ernie Cefalu) was perfectly round and covered with a silver film that resembled a large coin.
