He also directed the film "More", for which Pink Floyd also recorded the soundtrack. The CD was recorded in six days in France, at the Chateau d’Erouville. As in the case of the soundtrack to the film "More", you can hear several modified versions of the songs on the album. It features Evans ' big band arrangements of five original compositions (two written by Miles Davis) and compositions by Kurt Weill, Bob Dorow, John Lewis, and Willie Dixon.The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow awarded the album 4 stars, stating that " Highly recommended to Gil Evans fans; it's a pity he hasn't recorded more albums in this era."
