The rest of the musicians, if they became famous, then in very narrow circles. The history of the English band Bedlam The English band "Bedlam "(so named in association with the London psychiatric hospital) It was formed in 1972 by guitarist David Ball and the now legendary but then little-known drummer Cozy Powell. The latter played in the band after leaving the "Jeff Beck Group", and before starting his own band "Cozy Powell's Hammer". The band also included bassist Dennis Ball, who had previously played with John Baldry, and vocalist Francesco Aiello (full name Francesco Aiello). Initially, the quartet was called "The Beast", but then it turned out that there was already an ensemble with this name in America, and the group had a new name - "Bedlam". The band worked in the style of hard rock with the beginnings of heavy metal, a classic example of which was the band's only self-titled album, released in 1973. YANKA-NOT ALLOWED-1992-FIRST PRESS RUSSIA-BONDA-BND-00019. Mega rare original of one of the legends of Russian rock.  Recorded in 1988, the album Yankee Diaghileva. "This is the first official Yankee album, Not Supposed to, recorded at Coffin Studios on January 9, 1988. Subsequently, with the addition of various material from a later period, it was released on vinyl. Yana (Yanka) Stanislavovna Dyagileva (September 4, 1966, Novosibirsk-presumably May 9, 1991, Novosibirsk district, Novosibirsk region) was a Soviet rock singer, author, performer, member of the punk rock groups "Civil Defense", "Great October", etc. One of the brightest representatives of the Siberian underground of the late 1980s.She began to give concerts, mostly apartment concerts, where she performed her songs with a guitar. Diaghilev quickly gained fame and respect in the Soviet rock underground, and Yankee's unauthorized albums were released.During her lifetime, Yanka was not actually noticed by the official media. She really did not like to give interviews, rejected the offer of "Melody" to release a CD, the TV did not shoot video materials about Yanka. Diaghilev never sought popularity and did not contribute in any way to the "promotion" of her name. She died in May 1991. The circumstances of the death are not fully clarified. It was released in 2006 by Paris-based Ya Basta Records, under the management of Philippe Cohen Solal. The album is named Lunático after the racehorse of the legendary tango master Carlos Gardel. The album is a collaboration with the American band Calexico, recorded in Tucson, Arizona, and a cover of the song by Ry Cooder in Paris, Texas . The rest of the album was recorded in Paris and Buenos Aires . The first single from the album was "Diferente", and the second was "Mi Confesión". The third single was "La Vigüela". The album so captured the hearts of listeners and critics that it was at the top of the charts in 25 countries for a year. And the results of the year were expected-multi-gold in 20 countries, and as the album of the year placed the US (Billboard)- 2nd place, Belgian Albums (Ultratop Flanders)- 3rd place, Italian albums (FIMI) - 4th place. and so on.  ...more
