Hemispheres is the sixth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released in 1978. Hemispheres was recorded in June-August 1978 at Rockfield Studios, Wales, United Kingdom. Like the album "2112", the disc consists of one large and epic composition - " Cygnus X-1, Book II: Hemispheres "(the sequel to" Cygnus X-1 Book I: The Voyage "from the album" A Farewell to Kings"), divided into parts and occupying the first half of the disc. The second half of the album contains two relatively short songs ("Circumstances", "The Trees") and a nine-minute instrumental track"La Villa Strangiato".
