SECOND HAND-DEATH MAY BE YOUR SANTA CLAUS-1971-FIRST PRESS FRANCE-2C062-92660. A very rare French original of the second album of the top progressive British band Second Hand. In 1970, they recorded their second studio album, Death May Be Your Santa Claus, at Mushroom Studios and invited Second Hand to release their album there. The album was released in April 1971 with a supporting single titled "Funeral", featuring "Hangin' On An Eyelid " (track 2 from the album) as the B-side. This album was much more successful than the previous one, using a heavy symphonic rock style that clearly influenced the vocal style of Arthur Brown(Rob Elliott was a big fan of them).

A rare British original of the cult prog-hard rock band.  Hemispheres is the sixth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released in 1978. Hemispheres was recorded in June-August 1978 at Rockfield Studios, Wales, United Kingdom. Like the album "2112", the disc consists of one large and epic composition - " Cygnus X-1, Book II: Hemispheres "(the sequel to" Cygnus X-1 Book I: The Voyage "from the album" A Farewell to Kings"), divided into parts and occupying the first half of the disc. The second half of the album contains two relatively short songs ("Circumstances", "The Trees") and a nine-minute instrumental track"La Villa Strangiato".  ...more

MAGGIE, BELL (EX-STONE THE CROWS) - SUICIDE SAL-1975-FIRST PRESS UK-POLYDOR-2383313. A very rare original blues vocalist from STONE THE CROWS. Stone the Crows disbanded in 1973, following the accidental death of Leslie Harvey from electrocution on May 2, 1972. Harvey was an integral part of the band and its music. Peter Grant became Bell's manager after the split, and along with Mark London, offered to help Bell record a solo album. Grant directed the release of her first solo album, Queen of the Night (1974), which was recorded in New York City. with producer Jerry Wexler. The swan song for Bell came when she signed with the then-newly formed Swan Song Records in 1974, along with Bad Company and Pretty Things, Jimmy Page contributed to her second album Suicide Sal (1975).  ...more
