Adrenalize is the fifth studio album by English rock band Def Leppard, released on March 31, 1992 through Mercury Records. The album was the band's first album since the death of guitarist Steve Clarke in 1991. Adrenalize debuted at No. 1 on the UK albums chart, and the following week on the US Billboard 200. It remained at No. 1 on the Billboard chart for five weeks, keeping Bruce Springsteen's Human Touch at number one, and spent a total of 65 weeks on the charts. ...more

JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE-ELECTRIC LADYLAND-1968 ORIGINAL PRESS 1973 UK-POLYDOR - 2310269-70. A very early reissue of the album with a re-recorded sound. Electric Ladyland is the third and final album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1968.Recording the album was accompanied by constant difficulties. After a troubled tour of Scandinavia and England, Hendricks decided to move to the US. Disillusioned with the creative limitations of record companies, he set up his own Studio in new York city, where he could implement all his musical ideas. The construction of the Studio was accompanied by problems, and its construction was finally completed only in the mid-70s.As a result, Jimi recorded the bulk of the material at the Record Plant studios. Due to difficulties in his relationship with the band's bassist, Noel reading, Jimi played most of the bass guitar parts himself, including the bass solo on "1983". During the recording of "All Along the Watchtower", reading went to a nearby bar, Hendrix took his bass and recorded the song."Voodoo Chile "was recorded during Hendrix's late-night jam session featuring Mitch Mitchell, Steve Winwood on Hammond organ, and Jack Casady on bass guitar; it served as the basis for" Voodoo Child (Slight Return)", recorded the following day. The double album "Electric Ladyland" revealed the full breadth of Hendrix's musical talent. It includes samples of every genre of music from psychedelia ("Burning of the Midnight Lamp") to Blues guitar jam ("Voodoo Chile"), 50s-style rock and roll ("Little Miss Strange") and the epic" A Merman I Should Turn to Be", which can be considered an early example of progressive rock. JOHN, ELTON-CARIBOU-1974-FIRST PRESS UK-DJM-DJLPH439. A rare British original of the master of the British stage. Caribou is the eighth studio album by Elton John, released in 1974. The album peaked at number four in the US and number three in the UK. The album contains the singles "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", which peaked at number 16 on the UK Singles chart and number two in the US, and "The Bitch Is Back", which peaked at number 15 in the UK and number four in the US. Both singles reached number one in Canada on the national RPM 100 Top Singles Chart, as did the album itself. The album was met with lukewarm reviews on its release, and legacy reviews do not consider this record one of John's best works from his peak period of the early 1970s. However, the album was a commercial success and was certified double platinum in the US, as well as being certified gold in the UK. THIN LIZZY-CHINATOWN-1980-FIRST PRESS UK-VERTIGO-6359030. A rare British original by British hard rockers.  Chinatown is the tenth studio album by the Irish band Thin Lizzy, released in 1980. He introduced guitarist Snowy White, who would also perform on the next album, and also toured with Thin Lizzy between 1980 and 1982; he replaced Gary Moore as the permanent guitarist. White has previously worked with Cliff Richard, Peter Green, and Pink Floyd. Eighteen-year-old Darren Wharton also played keyboards in Chinatown, and later that year he joined Thin Lizzy as a permanent member.  The album reached high positions in the charts, although according to critics it was weaker than Black rose, UK Albums Chart-7 place, Billboard 200 (USA) - 120 place.  ...more
