A rare original of the cult album of one of the founders of the new wave.Forever Young is the debut studio album by the German synthpop band Alphaville, released on September 27, 1984 by Warner Music Group. The release of the CD was preceded by the release of several singles — "Big In Japan" in January, Sounds Like A Melody in May and Forever Young in September, just before the release of the record. The album has sold over 2,000,000 copies. The song Forever Young did not initially become a popular hit, but has been considered a classic of the 1980s for some time.
