A rare European original legend in rock music. Still Got the Blues is the eighth studio album by Northern Irish guitarist and singer Gary Moore, released in 1990. The album marked a significant change in style for Moore, [1] [2] who prior to this album was primarily known for his hard rock work with Thin Lizzy, G-Force, Greg Lake, and during his extensive solo career, as well as his jazz fusion work with Colosseum II. As the name suggests, Still Got The Blues demonstrates Moore's commitment to electric blues. The title track was released as a single and peaked at # 97 on the Billboard Hot 100 on February 16, 1991. [4] To date, it is Moore's only single to chart on this chart. On February 16, 1991, the album peaked at number 83 on the Billboard 200, and was certified gold by the RIAA in November 1995. ALAN PRICE-O LUCKY MAN-1973-ORIGINAL PRESS 1974 UK-WARNER-K46227. Matrix A-2/B-1. A rare early edition of the cult album. Alan Price said that Lindsay Anderson wanted to make a documentary about Price and his band touring England, but the cost of licensing the songs they performed was too high. While Sherwin and McDowell were developing the script, Anderson decided that Price should write the score, and sent him the script, indicating where he would like to see the songs. Price wrote almost all of the songs before filming began. The soundtrack was released as a vinyl album by Warner Bros. Records, in 1973. In the United States, it entered the top LPs and Tape Chart on August 11, 1973, and spent 14 weeks on the chart, peaking at # 117. The score won the 1974 BAFTA Award for Best Film Score.  ...more
