INXS-X-1990-FIRST PRESS EU-HOLLAND-MERCURY-866668-1.  A rare European original of the cult group. X is the seventh studio album by Australian rock band INXS, released on 25 September 1990. After a massive seller hit, X scored hits with "Suicide Blonde" and "Disappear" (both Top 10 in the US). Both singles were later used on the soundtrack to the 1991 American teen comedy Mystery Date. X was the third consecutive INXS album produced by Chris Thomas. The name, Roman numeral "10", represents the band's tenth year of existence since the release of their debut album in 1980.  The album was certified platinum in January 1991 by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for sales of over 300,000 copies. X proved successful across Europe, reaching number 5 in Switzerland, number 7 in France, number 9 in Germany, number 10 in Sweden, and number 13 in Norway. The album quickly gained gold accreditation in all of these regions, subsequently reaching platinum status in both France and Switzerland. In the United States, Album X peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Top 200 chart on October 20, 1990. As in the UK, the album spent a total of 43 weeks on the charts.Less than two months after its release, the X was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on November 13, 1990 for shipments of 500,000 units. The album eventually went double platinum on December 16, 1997, with sales of two million copies in the United States alone. SUNDAY-SUNDAY-1991-FIRST PRESS RUSSIA-FEE LEE-FL3-001. A very rare original of the cult album. Resurrection is the second studio album by the band Resurrection, recorded in 1981. Until 1991, it existed only as a tape album, distributed by copying. Included in the book by Alexander Kushnir "100 magnetoalbums of Soviet rock" The recording was made on June 7-10, 1981. The sound engineer was Alexander "Artem" Arutyunov. The album was mixed on the spot.  The songs "In life, like in a dark thicket", "Who's to blame?" and "I used to wander alone" were first recorded in 1979 on the first album. A total of 9 songs were recorded. DURAN DURAN-NOTORIOUS-1986-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-EMI-062-240659-1. A rare European original. Notorious is the fourth studio album by British new wave band Duran Duran, released on 18 November 1986. The producer of this release this time was the guitarist of the band Chic — Niall Rogers, who had previously worked with the band when producing the singles "The Reflex" and "Wild Boys". He also played guitar on the album's lead single, "Notorious". It is the only single from the album to achieve its former commercial success (#2 in the US and # 7 in the UK).    ...more

ALAN PRICE-O LUCKY MAN-1973-ORIGINAL PRESS 1974 UK-WARNER-K46227. Matrix A-2/B-1. A rare early edition of the cult album. Alan Price said that Lindsay Anderson wanted to make a documentary about Price and his band touring England, but the cost of licensing the songs they performed was too high. While Sherwin and McDowell were developing the script, Anderson decided that Price should write the score, and sent him the script, indicating where he would like to see the songs. Price wrote almost all of the songs before filming began. The soundtrack was released as a vinyl album by Warner Bros. Records, in 1973. In the United States, it entered the top LPs and Tape Chart on August 11, 1973, and spent 14 weeks on the chart, peaking at # 117. The score won the 1974 BAFTA Award for Best Film Score.  ...more
