It reached number four in the UK charts. RS were surprised by the release of the album and stated: "We didn't know that this record would be released. In our opinion, it is below the standard that we are trying to keep up with, both in the choice of content and in the design of the cover." These 12 songs, dating from the mid-1960s, were chosen because they never appeared on British studio albums, some of them were originally released only on singles, and some up to that point were released only on American studio albums. ...more

The album was recorded at the studio "AnTrop". Initially, it was released on compact cassettes, and in 1988 it was released on records by the record company "Melody". It is the band's first officially released album. The album took the 12th place in the list of "50 best Russian albums of all time", compiled by the magazine "Afisha" according to the results of a survey of young Russian musicians. ...more

A rare early British edition of the cult album.Out of Our Heads is a studio album by the British rock band The Rolling Stones. It is the band's fourth album released in the US and the third in the UK. The versions of the album released in the US and in the UK differ in the covers and the list of songs. The American version of the album was released on July 30, 1965 by London Records, and the British version was released on September 24, 1965, by Decca Records. The album was originally released in the United States. The album cover shows a photo taken during the same photo shoot as the photos that appeared on the covers of the albums 12 X 5 and The Rolling Stones No. 2. The album was the result of six months of work by the band. It includes songs that later became hits, such as "The Last Time" and, which became world famous, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", previously released only on the band's live EP Got Live If You Want It!. The album became the first edition of the band to reach the top of the Billboard 200 chart, and subsequently received platinum status in the United States. It was recorded at Wally Hader's studio in San Francisco and released in December 1969 by Philips Records. Gary Lee Yoder contributed to the songwriting for the opening and closing tracks, and later joined the band as a guitarist on their next album, The Original Human Being. The album turned out to be very high-quality and critics placed it in the top 20 albums of the year along with the famous grandees of the rock scene of the 70th year.  ...more
