Rare British original of the cult album. Let's Dance is the 15th studio album by English singer David Bowie, released on April 14, 1983 by EMI . After the release of the album Scary Monsters (1980), Bowie began a period of numerous musical collaborations and film performances. During this time, he also left RCA Records due to dissatisfaction. After signing a contract with EMI in late 1982, Bowie decided that he wanted to start all over again, and chose Nile Rodgers from the rock disco band Chic to co-produce his next record. The album was recorded in December 1982 at the power plant in New York. The sessions featured a completely new line-up, including then unknown Texas blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan on lead guitar. For the first time, Bowie did not play any instruments on the album, but only sang. Musically, Let's Dance has been described as a post-disco record with elements of dance rock, dance pop and new wave. It is the band's fourth album released in the US and the third in the UK. The versions of the album released in the US and in the UK differ in the covers and the list of songs. The American version of the album was released on July 30, 1965 by London Records, and the British version was released on September 24, 1965, by Decca Records. The album was originally released in the United States. The album cover shows a photo taken during the same photo shoot as the photos that appeared on the covers of the albums 12 X 5 and The Rolling Stones No. 2. The album was the result of six months of work by the band. A very rare test original of an American heavy star. Out for Blood is the debut solo album by guitarist and vocalist Lita Ford, formerly of the band the Runaways. The original cover of this album showed Lita standing in front of a spider web and holding a broken guitar in her hands, from which blood flows. It was later replaced with a cover of Lita standing in front of a purple background with her guitar. The album cover showed that Ford had adopted a very heavy metal-inspired image, an image that she would maintain for most of the next decade. ...more
