G N’ R Lies (also known as Lies) is the second Studio album by American rock band Guns N’ Roses, released in 1988. According to the RIAA, it sold over five million copies in the U.S. alone, becoming instantly multiplatinovymi. The first four tracks previously released on the EP Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide. The last four songs were recorded using acoustic guitars. They were written and recorded in only a few sessions in the Studio (except "You're Crazy", which was included in an alternate version of the album Appetite for Destruction).In later interviews, Axl rose said that he likes how the band sounded on the last four songs, but he hated the sound of his voice. Rose recalled that his voice was hoarse and rough due to long touring bands at the time, and if he could, he re-recorded his vocals. This is the first album after the split of the band in early 1987, "Hero of Asphalt" is also the first album officially released by "Melody", the two previous albums at that time existed and were distributed as tape albums only on tape cassettes. The album was a great success, its sales exceeded 1 million copies (which in the United States corresponds to the platinum status), but the exact circulation is unknown even to the company "Melody", although, according to her, at least 1.5 million records were printed.On this album, for the first time, all the lyrics were written by Margarita Pushkina, and Alexander Elin, who wrote the lyrics to previous albums, left for the Master group and did not work with Aria until 2001.In 2008, a concert tour was held in honor of the 20th anniversary of the album, which resulted in the release of a double live album and a concert video "Hero of Asphalt XX years". "Sands" is the ninth "natural" album of the group "Aquarium", consisting mainly of songs from 1975-1986, recorded in 1993. When in the autumn of 1992, "Aquarium" had its own studio at Fontanka, 39, the group had the idea to recreate some songs written by Grebenshchikov in the late 70s-early 80s in their spare time from recording the album "Favorite songs of Ramses IV". Most of the songs of that time were already included in the albums "All Brothers — Sisters" and "Acoustics", but many of them remained unrecorded. CUBY + BLIZZARDS-APPLEKNOCKERS FLOPHOUSE-1969-THE FIRST UK PRESS-PHILIPS SBL7918. Mega rare British original blues monsters. In the spring of 1969, CUBY and THE BLIZZARDS toured the Netherlands with FLEETWOOD MAC, and in August went on a tour of the UK, where she also managed to perform at the prestigious Marquee Club. But, despite the very successful tour and the increasing popularity of the band, it soon had serious problems with the composition. Van Eyck left for TRACE, and Dick Beckman moved to LIVIN ' BLUES, and in addition to everything, Herman Brood had problems with the law – he was arrested in The Hague for drug possession, and he also had to leave the band. Masks and Gelling completed the line-up with natives of the BLUES DIMENSION group Herman Deinum, Hans Lafaille, Helmig Van Der Vegt. The album “Appleknockers Flophouse”was recorded in this line-up. Musically, the album was noticeably different from the previous ones.
