G N’ R Lies (also known as Lies) is the second Studio album by American rock band Guns N’ Roses, released in 1988. According to the RIAA, it sold over five million copies in the U.S. alone, becoming instantly multiplatinovymi. The first four tracks previously released on the EP Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide. The last four songs were recorded using acoustic guitars. They were written and recorded in only a few sessions in the Studio (except "You're Crazy", which was included in an alternate version of the album Appetite for Destruction).In later interviews, Axl rose said that he likes how the band sounded on the last four songs, but he hated the sound of his voice. Rose recalled that his voice was hoarse and rough due to long touring bands at the time, and if he could, he re-recorded his vocals. "You're Crazy" was released previously on the band's debut album, Appetite for Destruction and in this album as originally conceived. ...more

BADFINGER-BADFINGER-1973-FIRST PRESS (PROMO) GERMANY-WARNER-WB56023. Mega rare promo original of the cult album. Badfinger is the sixth Studio album by British rock band Badfinger. The album was recorded in the fall of 1973 and released in 1974 on the Warner Bros. label .Records. It was the first of two albums released by the band on the Warner label. When Badfinger were finishing work on their last album for Apple Records, Ass, the band's Manager, Stan Polley, signed them to a three-year, six-album deal with Warner Bros.Records. As a result, shortly after the band and producer Chris Thomas completed recording Ass , they returned to the Studio to make a new album for Warner. Originally scheduled for release on December 28, 1973, the album was delayed due to Ass being released the same month. After the release of Badfinger has received an unfavorable review in Rolling Stone magazine. The UK single released after the album "Love is Easy" failed to chart. The follow-up single released in the US, "I Miss You", also failed. In the United States, the album peaked at number 161 on the BillboardTop 200 LPs & Tape list, making it Badfinger's lowest-charting album there. Part of the reason for the poor commercial performance was that due to legal proceedings with Apple, this album and Ass came out within a few months of each other; in fact, in the UK, Badfinger actually preceded Ass. ...more

It was recorded at Wally Hader's studio in San Francisco and released in December 1969 by Philips Records. Gary Lee Yoder contributed to the songwriting for the opening and closing tracks, and later joined the band as a guitarist on their next album, The Original Human Being. The album turned out to be very high-quality and critics placed it in the top 20 albums of the year along with the famous grandees of the rock scene of the 70th year.  ...more
