DEEP PURPLE-PERFECT STRANGERS-1984-FIRST PRESS UK-POLYDOR POLH16  A very rare original in top condition. Perfect Strangers is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple and the first recorded by the reunited "classic line-up" of the band, released in November 1984.  In early October, Perfect Strangers was mixed, and on November 16 it went on sale, rising to the 5th place in Britain and to the 17th-in the USA. Blackmore, known for his inconsistency, joked that the album should finally be called the album of 1974, hinting that the last album recorded in this line-up was released back in 1973 (Who Do We Think We Are). Such zeal did not remain without consequences: the album turned out to be very successful, quickly became platinum, took 5th place in the UK charts and 17th place in the USA. A rare British original of the cult band.  Wind and Wuthering is the eighth studio album by the English progressive rock band Genesis. It was released on December 17, 1976 on Charisma Records and is their last studio album featuring guitarist Steve Hackett. After the success of their 1976 tour in support of their previous album, A Trick of the Tail, the band moved to Hilvarenbeek in the Netherlands to record their next album, their first recorded outside the UK. Writing and recording caused internal friction, as Hackett felt that some of his contributions had been rejected in favor of material by keyboardist Tony Banks. The album received a positive response from critics and boosted the band's popularity in the United States. It reached No. 7 in the UK and No. 26 in the US and sold steadily, eventually receiving Gold Certification from the British Phonographic Institute and the Recording Industry Association of America.
