Rare American original.  Highway to Hell is the sixth studio album by Australian rock band AC/DC, released in 1979. Undoubtedly the most popular AC/DC album at the time of release, Highway to Hell significantly expanded the group's audience and became a springboard for a dizzying takeoff the following year with the album Back in Black. This is the last album of the band featuring vocalist Bon Scott, who died suddenly in 1980. The album took the 20th position in the rating of "100 best rock albums of all time" according to Classic Rock magazine. The album became the first work of the group to enter the top hundred of the Billboard 200 chart. DEEP PURPLE-PERFECT STRANGERS-1984-FIRST PRESS UK-POLYDOR POLH16  A very rare original in top condition. Perfect Strangers is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple and the first recorded by the reunited "classic line-up" of the band, released in November 1984.  In early October, Perfect Strangers was mixed, and on November 16 it went on sale, rising to the 5th place in Britain and to the 17th-in the USA. Blackmore, known for his inconsistency, joked that the album should finally be called the album of 1974, hinting that the last album recorded in this line-up was released back in 1973 (Who Do We Think We Are). Such zeal did not remain without consequences: the album turned out to be very successful, quickly became platinum, took 5th place in the UK charts and 17th place in the USA. Deep Purple embarked on a world tour, culminating in a performance in front of 80,000 British fans at Knebworth Park in June 1985. ...more
