JETHRO TULL-MINSTREL IN THE GALLERY-1975-FIRST PRESS UK-CHRYSALIS-CHR1082 Matrix A-1U/B-1U Stamper 1GR/2RM. A rare British original of the cult prog band. Minstrel in the Gallery is the eighth studio album by the British rock band Jethro Tull, released in September 1975. The album shows the band as returning to a mix of electric and acoustic compositions, thus closer to their early 70s albums such as Benefit (1970), Aqualung(1971) and Thick as a Brick (1972). The album was the first Jethro Tull album recorded outside the UK, in Monte Carlo, Monaco. This was Jethro Tull's last album with bassist Jeffrey Hammond, who left the band after the album's tour ended in late 1975 and was replaced by former Carmen bassist John Glascock. AllMusic has a favorable review stating that the album is "the most artistically successful and carefully crafted album since Thick as a Brick".

Vinyl record in top condition - NMINT/ARCHIVE. The cover is matte in excellent top condition, with minimal traces of storage - NMINT/ARCHIVE. Leblas in top condition - NMINT/ARCHIVE.
