A rare original of the cult album.Eloquence is a live album by jazz pianist Oscar Peterson and his trio, released in 1965. Eloquence was the last album of the Oscar Peterson trio with drummer Ed Thigpen. Writing for AllMusic, critic Scott Yanow wrote: "The music heard during this "live from Copenhagen" concert is excellent... Peterson is in particularly strong form in "Misty", "Django", the songs "Autumn Leaves" and "Moaning"

The album reached the 8th line of the chart in the US, eventually received gold, and the reviews were generally favorable. The second single, "No No Song" reached No. 3 on the US charts. He made a bet with Lennon that the song would be able to take first place in the American hit parade (which was previously not possible for any one single solo Lennon). If this would have happened, Lennon was required to attend the Elton John concert. He had to fulfill his promise, because, "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" actually managed to climb to the top of the chart. The song "Beef Jerky" is the only instrumental on solo albums Lennon.
