LENNON, JOHN-WALLS & BRIDGES-1974-FIRST UK PRESS-APPLE - PCTC253 . Walls and Bridges is the fifth solo Studio album of the participant of group "Beatles" John Lennon, released in 1974. "Walls And Bridges" was recorded during the long absences of Lennon and Yoko Ono. The song "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" was attended by Elton John. He made a bet with Lennon that the song would be able to take first place in the American hit parade (which was previously not possible for any one single solo Lennon). If this would have happened, Lennon was required to attend the Elton John concert. He had to fulfill his promise, because, "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" actually managed to climb to the top of the chart. The song "Beef Jerky" is the only instrumental on solo albums Lennon. In the song "Ya Ya" on drums plays eleven-year-old son Julian Lennon.

NAZARETH-NO JIVE-1991-FIRST PRESS UK/EU GERMANY-MAUSOLEUM - 36700101. Mega rare album of the giants of British rock. The first press was released only in Germany. No Jive is the eighteenth studio album by the British band Nazareth. Released in 1991 by Griffin Records. Despite the retirement of permanent guitarist Manny Charlton and the return of Billy Rankin, in the 90s Nazareth returned to classic hard rock, from which they started. From the first chords of "Hire and Fire", you seem to be transported to 1974, to the time of "Rampant". The first 3 tracks were made in this style. Next is the obligatory melodic semi-ballad "Every Time it Rains". Remnants of the sound of the 80s are still left in "Keeping our Love Alive". "The Rowan Tree" is a nice little instrumental on an acoustic guitar, which is like an introduction to" Tell Me That You Love Me " – here the guys remembered that they are from Scotland and played a wonderful folk singing song. The disc ends with the once again replayed "This Flight Tonight" In February 1992, the album was released, received flattering reviews from critics, followed by a tour of Europe, including the first trip to England after 1985. In 1993, "No Jive" was released in the United States, received excellent reviews and sold well. ...more
