Many critics rate this disc as one of the best in the work group. It is on this album is a world-famous song "Wind of Change" (which became the symbol of Perestroika) and "Send Me an Angel". The album was rated multi-platinum by the RIAA for a circulation of more than 2 000 000 copies in August 1995. The drive took 21 th place in the American Billboard 200 chart.

This is the third and last studio album of the Collective Consciousness Society. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London from January to May 1973 and released in September of the same year. In Australia, the album was called "The Band Played Boogie". The album includes, in particular, covers of songs by The Kinks and Cream, and it is equally divided by original compositions. The style continues the style of their two previous albums, with heavy rock and blues songs arranged on jazz instruments.
