Four singles were released in support of the CD: "Go Your Own Way", "Dreams", "Don't Stop" and "You Make Loving Fun". It was released on May 15 , 1984 by Epic Records as a follow - up to the band 's critically and commercially successful 1983 album Texas Flood . The recordings took place in January 1984 at a power plant in New York . Stevie Ray Vaughan wrote half of the tracks, unable to withstand the weather. The album reached number 31 on the Billboard 200 chart, and the video for the song "Couldn't Stand the Weather" received regular rotation on MTV. A rare original of the cult album . "Technical Ecstasy" is the seventh studio album by the British rock band Black Sabbath, released in 1976. Musically, the CD is a further development of the musical ideas of the guitarist and main composer of the band Tony Iommi. Just like on the last two albums, on Technical Ecstasy, simple and short songs such as "Rock 'N' Roll Doctor" contrast with longer and more complex songs such as "You Won't Change Me" and "Dirty Women". The source material was somewhat spoiled by unimportant production [the source is not specified for 102 days, and therefore could not repeat the commercial success of its predecessor, the album Sabotage (1975). Nevertheless, partly thanks to the beautiful songs, and partly thanks to the big name "Black Sabbath", this album sold steadily and eventually received its "platinum" in the UK and "gold" in the USA.
