SLADE-PLAY IT LOUD-1970-First press UK-POLYDOR -2383 026 Matrix A-2/B-2. A very rare British original of the cult album.  Play It Loud is the second studio album by the British rock band Slade. It was released by the Polydor label on November 28, 1970, but failed to chart. The album, produced by Chas Chandler, was the first to be released under the Slade name since the band's 1969 debut album was released under the Ambrose Slade name. In 1973, the album would achieve commercial success in Canada after Polydor was released there, peaking at number 40. In 1975 he received the silver status.

CRABBY APPLETON-ROTTEN TO THE CORE!-1971-FIRST PRESS (PROMO) USA-ELEKTRA-EKS74106. A rare promo original of cult rockers.  Crabby Appleton is an American rock band of the early 1970s. Vocalist and songwriter Michael Fennelly hit the Top 40 with his first single "Go Back".  Crabby Appleton signed with Elektra Records and recorded their first album Crabby Appleton, produced by Don Gallucci and released in 1970.[1] The band's debut single "Go Back" rose to number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.[2] The band opened for the Doors, Sly and the Family Stone, Three Dog Night, Guess Who, ABBA and George Carlin. They appeared on the American Bandstand, the Real Don Steele Show, What's Happening with John Byner and enjoyed critical acclaim. Both their albums, Crabby Appleton and Rotten to the Core, received rave reviews in Rolling Stone and Creem magazines. The band's second album, Rotten to the Core, was recorded in 1971, but sales were disappointing and the band broke up.[1] After the breakup of the band, Fennelly recorded two solo albums: Lane Changer, recorded in England in 1974; and Stranger's Bed, recorded in Los Angeles the following year.  ...more

The Book of Taliesyn is the second studio album by the British band Deep Purple. It was released in the USA in October 1968 on the Tetragrammaton Records label, and in the UK in June 1969 on the Harvest label named after the "Book of Taliesin" — a Welsh manuscript of the first half of the XIV century, including the oldest Welsh poems, many of which are attributed to the poet Taliesin (VI century). Matrix Numbers : 7-214-2 / 7-215 / 7-216-2/ 7-217 . On the booklet there is a gift inscription for Christmas 1971 by the member of the album BARRY DENNON. In the album Jesus Christ Superstar, released in 1970, the title role was performed by Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan. Other famous artists took part in the recording: Murray Head, Mike D'Abo (ex Manfred Mann), bluesman Victor Brox (Caiaphas), as well as Paul Raven (aka Gary Glitter) and Yvonne Elliman, who became famous later. The album Jesus Christ Superstar topped the Billboard 200 in 1971 and rose to No. 6 on the UK Singles Chart in January 1972.
