Erotica is the fifth studio album by American singer Madonna, released on October 20, 1992 by Maverick and Sire Records. Erotica is a concept album about sex and romance, including her alter ego, lover Dita, inspired by actress Dita Parlo. Some of his songs also take on a more confessional tone, influenced by the loss of two close friends of Madonna due to AIDS. Erotica received generally positive reviews from critics, who considered it one of Madonna's most adventurous albums and praised her comments about taboos and AIDS. Commercially, the album was less successful than Madonna's previous albums, peaking at number 2 on the US Billboard 200 chart, becoming her first studio album not topping the chart since her debut. Internationally, it topped the charts in Australia, Finland and France, and also entered the top five in a number of other countries, such as Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Erotica was later certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and sold over six million copies worldwide.

The Soft Parade is the fourth studio album by the American rock band The Doors, released on July 18, 1969 on the Elektra label. The Soft Parade has not received approval from either critics or listeners. So, in the Billboard 200, the record reached only the sixth position, and in the charts of the UK and other European countries, the disc did not debut at all, unlike its predecessor Waiting for the Sun (1968). Of all the singles released in support of the album — "Touch Me", "Wishful Sinful", "Tell All the People"ruen and "Runnin' Blue" — only the first achieved sales success: it reached the third line in the Billboard Hot 100 and then received gold certification by the RIAA.
