A Momentary Lapse of Reason is the thirteenth studio album by the British rock band Pink Floyd, released by EMI Records (September 7, 1987) and Columbia Records (September 8, 1987). This is the first CD recorded by the band after Roger Waters left Pink Floyd.
Work on the album A Momentary Lapse of Reason lasted from November 1986 to July 1987 in seven studios in London and Los Angeles. The main part of the material for the new album was written by David Gilmore. In addition, Gilmore took over the duties of producer. Bob Ezrin was invited to record the album as a co-producer. Unlike Pink Floyd's previous works, A Momentary Lapse of Reason is not based on any concept combining the lyrics.A Momentary Lapse of Reason rose to number three in both the US and UK charts. In August 2001, the album went four times platinum in the United States.

ATLANTIS-SAME-1972-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-VERTIGO-6360609. A rare original continuation of the cult prog group FRUMPY. Atlantis was formed at the end of the summer of 1972 by Inga Rumpf (vocals), Jean-Jacques Kravets (keyboards) and Karl-Heinz Schott (bass). These musicians previously played in the band Frumpy. The founding members also included guitarist Frank Dees and drummer Kurt Kress (formerly of the band Emergency). After several live performances in Germany, the first LP was released at Island Records Studio in London, which was widely recognized, especially in the United States, where Rumpf's bluesy vocals were appreciated. Diz and Kress left the band after recording. For a four-week tour of England with Procol Harum and Traffic, George Meyer joined Atlantis as guitarist and Udo Lindenberg joined Atlantis as drummer.
