A rare original of the cult pop-rock wave album with a promo poster. Stay on These Roads is the third studio album by Norwegian music group A-ha. It was released on May 3, 1988. The album was certified platinum in Brazil, and gold in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. The album was recorded in 1987 and released on May 3, 1988. In 1987, the single "The Living Daylights" was released, which became the theme to the film "Sparks from the Eyes" about James Bond and was later included in the album. Of the singles, the most popular was "Stay on These Roads", which reached number one on the Norwegian chart, and performed well in other European countries. Less popular was the single "Touchy!" and even less popular were "The Blood That Moves The Body" and "You Are The One". The album was released in the USA on June 7, 1976 by Capitol Records (catalog number SKBO 11537), in the UK on June 10, 1976 by Parlophone (catalog number PCSP 719); at that time, some media suggested that the album was released on the twentieth anniversary of the first meeting of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. If this was indeed the intention, then EMI made a mistake in their calculations, since in reality these two first met in July 1957. The album's title, Rock ’n’ Roll Music, is most likely taken from a Chuck Berry song, a version of which performed by The Beatles was included on the second side of the album.
