A rare British original with a poster.  Rumours is the eleventh studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on February 4, 1977 on the Warner Bros. label. Most of the record was recorded during 1976, and was produced by the band itself, together with Ken Kailatt and Richard Deschat. Four singles were released in support of the CD: "Go Your Own Way", "Dreams", "Don't Stop" and "You Make Loving Fun". Rumours became Fleetwood Mac's most successful album: in 1978, it was awarded the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, and its sales amounted to more than 40 million copies worldwide — one of the highest figures in the history of recording. ...more

PAT METHENY -NEW CHAUTAUQUA-1979-GERMANY'S FIRST PRESS-ECM-ECM1131.  A rare original of the cult jazzman of the third wave (the beginning of the 70s) New Chautauqua is a solo album by jazz guitarist Pat Metheny, recorded in August 1978 and released on ECM in April 1979. The Richmond Times-Dispatch wrote: "For all its charms, and they are significant, Metheny's first solo album is an exercise in arrangement and effect, how music can drift and the listener's attention does the same. " The album reached #3 on the Jazz Billboard, and #44 on the Pop/rock Billboard in 1979. ...more

A rare British original album by the iconic beat group. It's the Searchers is the fifth studio album by the English rock band The Searchers and the first album by the band that did not enter the official Top 20 albums chart in the United Kingdom. Released in late 1965, it was the last album by the Searchers before the departure of band leader Chris Curtis. The album includes several songs written by the band members, as well as cover versions of some famous tracks originally recorded by The Ronettes ("Be My Baby"), Fats Domino ("I'm Ready"), Marvin Gaye ("I'll Be Doggone") or Ian and Sylvia ("Four Strong Winds"). This is a compilation album by the American band Sly and the Family Stone. It was first released on November 21, 1970 by Epic Records. The album includes all the singles from the albums Dance to the Music (1968), Life (1968) and Stand! (1969). Three tracks released as singles in 1969 first appear on the album here: "Hot Fun in the Summertime", "Everybody Is a Star" and "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)". The recordings in this compilation do not always match the versions of the singles; some songs are presented here in their album version and mixes. Mixes sometimes have different editing and vocal and/or instrumentation changes. Greatest Hits was certified five times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling five million copies in the United States. The quintet consists of trumpeter Marcus Stockhausen, oboist Paul McCandless and rhythm section Gary Peacock and Jerry Granelli. Tom Jurek's review on AllMusic awarded the album 4 stars, stating: "City of Eyes once again shows Ralph Towner as a musical researcher, composer and instrumentalist who can convincingly create sonic journeys through time, space and terrain." ...more
