The album spent 96 weeks in the UK charts and became the most successful band in the United States. The song "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" was used in advertising Michelob, as well as Collins ' song "In the Air Tonight" and the song "In Too Deep" was in the film "Mona Lisa". BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS-BRAND NEW DAY-1977-FIRST PRESS USA-ABC-AB1015. A rare American original of the cult prog-jazz-rock band. The tenth album by Blood, Sweat & Tears, released in November 1977. It was the band's only release on ABC Records. It was produced by Roy Haley and former band drummer Bobby Colomby. Columbi and Haley also co-produced the band's fourth album, Blood, Sweat & Tears; 4, in 1971. The New Day failed to chart on the Billboard 200, peaking at number 205. Jason Elias wrote for AllMusic: "For the most part, Brand New Day wasn't as innovative or grandiose as previous releases, but fans will enjoy some of the best moments." ...more

ABBA-MORE ABBA GOLD (2LP'S) -1993-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-GERMANY-POLYDOR-519353-1. A very rare original double compilation of the cult band with unrealized tracks, among others.  The ABBA Gold album featured 19 of the most notable hits on an international scale, but some equally well-known songs like "Summer Night City" and "Angeleyes" remained "overboard". He also did not include a number of other songs by the band (recordings from the early 1980s: "Head over Heels" and "The Day Before You Came"; b-sides of famous singles and just tracks from albums, as well as "I Am the City", recorded in 1982, but never released). The album was released on September 23, 1991 on Epic Records and spawned hits such as the title track "Prisoners in Paradise" and "I'll Cry for You". The album did not chart in the US, which is unusual for a major label releasing two recent (multi) platinum albums. Prisoners in Paradise is the latest album featuring guitarist Ki Marcello. Swedish Album Chart - 9th place, Japanese Album Chart-12th place, The top 100 Swiss albums are ranked 17th, and the British Albums Chart is ranked 61st. ...more

QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE -HAPPY TRAILS-1969-THE FIRST USA-CAPITOL-ST-120 PRESS. A rare American original of the iconic album. Happy Trails is the second album by the American band Quicksilver Messenger Service. Most of the album was recorded from two performances at Fillmore East and Fillmore West, although it is unclear which parts were recorded at which Fillmore. The record was released by Capitol Records in 1969 in stereo format.  The album was an unexpected commercial success, peaking at number 27 on Billboard and eventually received a gold certification (over 500,000 copies sold in the United States) in 1992 by the Recording Industry Association of America. It was voted at number 553 in Colin Larkin's album "1000 Best Albums of All Time" 3rd edition (2000). In 2003, the album was ranked 189th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, retaining the ranking in the revised 2012 list. He was ranked 44th in Rolling Stone's "50 Coolest Records." Quicksilver's "Mona" was ranked 88th on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time.   ...more
