LOREDANA BERTE- SAVOIR FAIRE -1984-FIRST PRESS UK/EU -HOLLAND-CBS-CBS26107. A rare European original of the iconic album. Savoir fair is the tenth studio album by the Italian pop star. The first success came in 1975, the song "You are beautiful" ("Sei bellissima"), stayed in the Italian charts for 14 weeks, then entered the album "Normal or super" ("Normale o super", 1976) — the first, produced by Mario Lavezzi, as well as the first song of one of the largest Italian composers Ivan Fossati. His song "Dedicated" ("Dedicato"), performed in 1978 by Berthe, and again censored, this time politically, was repeatedly played on Italian TV. The 1979 album "Banda Berte" ("BandaBertè"), including the song "And the moon knocked ..." ("... E la luna bussò", in the rhythm of reggae), again reached high places in the Italian charts. For this album, Berthe again receives the "Vota la voce" award as the best performer. In 1981, Loredana spent several months in the United States recording the album "Made in Italy", in New York she met with E.By Warhol. In 1982, Berte won the "Festival Bar" with the song "I am not that signora" ("Non sono una signora", which rose to 5th place in the weekly and to 32 in the annual Italian hit parade, included in one of her most successful albums "Crossings" ("Traslocando", 7 and 38 places, respectively.. The album's producer is again I. Fossati, who also became the author of a number of songs featuring interesting melodies and philosophical lyrics. In 1983, the albums "Unreleased" ("Lorinedita") and "Jazz" ("Jazz", recorded in London and New York, prod. — Fossati). Berte performs at Madison Square Garden, participates in numerous Italian TV programs (Fantastico, etc.), marries Roberto Berger, the son of billionaire Tommaso Berger, the marriage did not last long. PINK FAIRIES-WHAT A BUNCH OF SWEETS-1972- FIRST PRESS UK-POLYDOR-2383132. A very rare original of the English prog-psycho band. Pink Fairies — What a Bunch of Sweeties (1972) This release is by many the most beloved of the three Pink Fairies albums recorded on the Polydor label. The record was recorded in 1972, at a time when the band's own reputation as hippie hooligans was already overshadowed by the soaring Hawkwind, "What a Bunch of Sweets" found that the band was rebuilding under the perverted American-rock style of modern MC5, with a high level of noise, but, unfortunately, with a low level of explosive determination, which was the hallmark of their debut album. The loss of the band's founder (Twink) may or may not have contributed to the further breakup, although it cannot be denied that in full instrumental overdrive, the incarnation of the three-person band (plus invited guests) was at least as dramatic as that of its predecessor. Indeed, the nine-minute attack on The Ventures' song "Walk Don't Run" ranks among the best Pink Fairies recordings of all time, while the bonus inclusion of an even longer version gives this record even more significance. There is also a hot version of The Beatles song "I Saw Her Standing There", a perverted country opus "Pigs of Uranus" and, concluding about the bonus tracks, a gloomy reinterpretation of the Don Nicks song "Goin' Down". ...more
