Hymns to the Silence is the twenty-first studio album by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison. It was his first studio double album. Morrison recorded the album in 1990 in Buckington at The Wool Hall Studios and in London at the Townhouse and Westside Studios. When Hymns to the Silence was released in 1991, it reached number five on the UK Albums Chart and received positive reviews from critics. The king of pop music. Dangerous is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson. It was released on Epic Records on November 26, 1991. Critics noted the wide genre palette of the record, which includes: new jack swing, funk, industrial, modern rhythm and blues, gospel, pop rock and hard rock. While creating the album, Jackson himself acted as its executive producer, collaborating with Teddy Riley and Bill Bottrell. The singer was directly involved in the creation of each of the 14 songs as an author, producer or co-producer. In the winter of 1991, Dangerous debuted at the top of the US and UK charts. It was released on February 4, 1991. The last album "Queen", recorded and released during the lifetime of Freddie Mercury. The name Innuendo contains an "indirect hint" that the band in such a composition will not last very long. The last songs were very difficult for Freddie, who was already seriously ill. Nevertheless, the album was finished and well received by the public. Several music videos were shot in support of him, one of which, "These Are The Days of Our Lives", became the last video featuring Mercury.Despite mixed reviews from critics, Queen's new album reached the top spot in the album charts of the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany and her native UK, becoming double platinum. ...more

This is a compilation album by the American band Sly and the Family Stone. It was first released on November 21, 1970 by Epic Records. The album includes all the singles from the albums Dance to the Music (1968), Life (1968) and Stand! (1969). Three tracks released as singles in 1969 first appear on the album here: "Hot Fun in the Summertime", "Everybody Is a Star" and "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)". The recordings in this compilation do not always match the versions of the singles; some songs are presented here in their album version and mixes. Mixes sometimes have different editing and vocal and/or instrumentation changes. Greatest Hits was certified five times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling five million copies in the United States.
