Work on Abbey Road took place from February to August 1969 and became the last joint project of all four members of the ensemble (the last numbered album of the group Let It Be, released in 1970, was mostly recorded in January 1969). The record was produced by George Martin, who had worked with the band since 1962. Abbey Road sold four million copies in the first two months. In the UK, the album debuted at the top of the national chart, where it remained for 11 weeks, after which it was replaced by The Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed for one week. Then he returned to 1st place again (during Christmas week) and stayed there for another six weeks (17 weeks in total), until he was replaced by Led Zeppelin's second record, Led Zeppelin II. In total, Abbey Road spent 81 weeks on the UK Albums chart. The situation was similar abroad. The album occupied the top spot of the Billboard Top LP chart for 11 weeks, becoming the best-selling album of 1969 according to the National Association of Recording Companies, as well as one of the record holders of the Japanese chart, appearing in its Top 100 for 298 weeks throughout the 1970s. ...more

Def, Dumb and Blonde is the third solo studio album by American singer Deborah Harry. Released in October 1989 on Sire Records in the USA and Chrysalis Records in the UK, the album returned Harry to her professional name "Deborah" rather than "Debbie". Harry worked on the album with various producers, including Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins and Mike Chapman, who previously produced the last four Blondie albums. "I wanted to do something that would remind me of Blondie," she said.   The song "I Want That Man", written by Tom Bailey and Alanna Curry of the Thompson Twins, was released as the title single. A rare Japanese original of a cult album. Who Do We Think We Are is the seventh studio album by the British band Deep Purple, released in 1973. Deep Purple's last album with vocalist Ian Gillan and bassist Roger Glover before the release of Perfect Strangers in 1984. The CD was recorded in July 1972 in Rome[4] and in October of the same year in Frankfurt using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio.At that time, the band was torn apart by internal conflicts and the recording of the album turned into a nightmare[4]. Ian Gillan later compared this album to The House of Blue Light in 1987: "It's the same: great songs, but a complete lack of mutual understanding among the musicians and ... weak morale."Who Do We Think We Are did not rise above the 4th position in the UK and 15th in the US charts. Blood Sugar Sex Magik is the fifth studio album by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on September 24, 1991. Produced by Rick Rubin, the album became the band's first LP to be released on the Warner Bros. label. Records. Musically, the CD differed from Mother's Milk, the band's previous work: it contained much less "heavy" guitar riffs; the main themes of the songs here were sex, death and drugs, as well as lust and wealth. A rare German original of the cult album. Perfect Strangers is the eleventh studio album by British rock band Deep Purple, released on October 29, 1984. It was the most successful album recorded by the reformed "Mark II" line-up.  It was Deep Purple's first studio album in nine years, and the first with the Mk II line-up in eleven years, the last was Who Do We Think We Are in 1973. Richie Blackmore and Roger Glover came from Rainbow, Ian Gillan from Black Sabbath, Jon Lord from Whitesnake and Ian Pace from Gary Moore are backingthe group. The album was a commercial success, reaching number 5 on the UK charts and number 17 on the US Billboard 200. Perfect Strangers became only the second Deep Purple studio album to receive platinum status in the United States after the 1972 album Machine Head. The tour was so successful that the band had to book many additional dates to participate in the American arena tour, as tickets sold out very quickly.
