ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album.  Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union. It was released on February 4, 1991. The last album "Queen", recorded and released during the lifetime of Freddie Mercury. The name Innuendo contains an "indirect hint" that the band in such a composition will not last very long. The last songs were very difficult for Freddie, who was already seriously ill. Nevertheless, the album was finished and well received by the public. Fate of Nations is the sixth studio album by British singer Robert Plant. It was released on May 25, 1993. "From the very beginning of this project, around January 1991, right after the Manic Nirvana tour, I knew what I was going to do: go back in time, listen to [Moby] Grape, [Jefferson] Airplane, Tim Hardin, Quicksilver, Traffic and other rock musicians. These people were trying to tell the listener something by joining various traditions, with the understanding that the search was planned and intertwined in their acoustic and electronic themes. I'm also proud of the fact that I tried to make the album lyrical, trying to tell vivid stories that come from heartfelt traditional prose."Robert Plant. The Fate Of Nations album appeared by the middle of 1993. This album features not only Plant's regular band, but also many guest musicians such as Maire Brennan, Nigel Kennedy, and Richard Thompson. Guitarist Kevin Scott MacMichael also contributed significantly to the album. Fate Of Nations has absorbed a variety of styles and influences, some of which come from Led Zeppelin.
