FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS -YOU WERE MAD FOR ME-1964-FIRST PRESS (MONO) UK-COLUMBIA-33SX1663. A rare British original rock beat band. Mitch Murray was invited to the project, who wrote several songs for FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS, and two subsequent singles, "I'm Telling You Now" and "You Were Made For Me", took second and third place in the charts. All this happened in 1963, and their first full-length album was released in the same year. As was often the case in those days, he was named after the band, Freddie And The Dreamers. And it was a success! Those who know the history of rock music in the sixties will agree with me: not every talented band could count on such success. FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS easily occupied a niche unoccupied by other bands in the souls of the British, or rather, in a certain part of it, and the longplay took fifth place in the national charts. The second album in 1964, "You Were Mad for Me", only fueled interest in the ensemble, although there, as in the first, there was not a single song created within the band. Chuck Berry, Paul Anka, Ray Charles and others…

PLANT, ROBERT-CALLING TO YOU (MAXI-6 TRACK'S)-1993-FIRST UK PRESS-FONTANA-FATE312. Mega rare original MAXI for the FATE OF NATIONS album. Fate of Nations is the sixth studio album by British singer Robert Plant. It was released on May 25, 1993. "From the very beginning of this project, around January 1991, right after the Manic Nirvana tour, I knew what I was going to do: go back in time, listen to [Moby] Grape, [Jefferson] Airplane, Tim Hardin, Quicksilver, Traffic and other rock musicians. These people were trying to tell the listener something by joining various traditions, with the understanding that the search was planned and intertwined in their acoustic and electronic themes. I'm also proud of the fact that I tried to make the album lyrical, trying to tell vivid stories that come from heartfelt traditional prose."Robert Plant. The Fate Of Nations album appeared by the middle of 1993. This album features not only Plant's regular band, but also many guest musicians such as Maire Brennan, Nigel Kennedy, and Richard Thompson. Guitarist Kevin Scott MacMichael also contributed significantly to the album. Fate Of Nations has absorbed a variety of styles and influences, some of which come from Led Zeppelin. Two songs from the album were released as singles (29 Palms and If I Were A Carpenter), followed by a world tour that ended in South America in early 1994. ...more

There he was a courier, a cleaner in a bakery, sorted through the Russian library of a millionaire, a newspaper deliveryman, became unemployed because he did not know English well, so he began to learn the language by reading American newspapers, graduated from a nurse's course, learned to drive a car, passed a taxi driving test and began working as a taxi driver to earn money for recording records, writing songs in his spare time, he was robbed four times (once, on Christmas Day, he was almost killed by a black man). In 1981, the second album "In a noisy booth" was released, which brought Tokarev fame among Russian-speaking emigrants. In the 1980s, he worked at the Russian restaurant Sadko, and then at the restaurants Primorsky and Odessa, accompanied by Irina Ola. He was called the "honorary Jew of Brighton." Willy founded his own label, One Man Band, and recorded about twenty albums there. In 1989, Willy Tokarev flew to the USSR with concerts. A major role in the organization of these tours was played by the famous entrepreneur Viktor Shulman, who himself also performed "Odessa songs" from the repertoire of Leningrad "tape recorder" bards, Boris Sichkin and other veterans of the genre. 70 concerts throughout the Soviet Union were a success. ...more
