KEITH JARRETT-NUDE ANTS (2LP'S)-1980-FIRST PRESS GERMANY- ECM-ECM 1171/72. A rare original of the iconic jazzman. The album, recorded by jazz pianist Keith Jarrett in May 1979 and released on ECM in May 1980, is the third release by his "European Quartet" featuring saxophonist Jan Garbarek and rhythm section, Palle Danielsson and John Christensen. After 1974, the AllMusic review by Scott Yanow states: "Due to the popularity of the obsessive "My Song" this album is the most famous of Jarrett and Garbarek's collaborations, and in fact it's their most rewarding meeting ever. Jarrett wrote all six tracks, and the results were relaxed and introspective, but at the same time full of inner tension."

TREMELOES- ALAN, DAVE, RICK, AND CHIP-1967-THE FIRST UK PRESS-CBS-SBPG63138 Rare original of the cult album. The Tremeloes are a British pop rock band that formed in 1958 in London, England (when the members of the first line—up were still teenagers) and a few years later became an important part of the British pop scene. A total of 14 of the band's singles were in the top twenty of the UK Singles Chart; two of them — "Here Comes My Baby" and "Silence Is Golden" — were successful in the United States. The Tremeloes were (according to Allmusic) "one of the most talented in the British pop-rock scene of the 1960s, releasing expertly crafted, memorable hit singles", in 1966-1970 had great success on both sides of the Atlantic, but remained underestimated — largely due to the fact that they often sang and I borrowed song material, but most importantly, because I was "too late" for the start of the British invasion. At the same time, The Tremeloes are one of the longest—lasting British bands of the 1960s, which continues to perform 50 years after its formation. ...more

NIRVANA -LOCAL ANAESTHETIC-1971-THE FIRST UK PRESS-VERTIGO-SWIRL-6360031. A mega rare original of one of the masterpieces of the British rock prog. Originally released on the Vertigo label in 1971, Local Anesthetic was the first album released under the NIRVANA name featuring only half of the original songwriting duo, Patrick Campbell-Lyons, who had been left alone after amicably parting ways with Alex Spyropoulos a few months earlier, disappointed by the band's lack of success, especially after the disastrous previous opus, and decided to pursue a career as a composer for the television and film industry. On Local Anesthetic, Campbell-Lyons chose a more “progressive” direction: the album consists of two long suites featuring saxophonist Mel Collins (KING CRIMSON) and the band JADE WARRIOR, among others. To be fair, it's worth noting that this CD wasn't a success either. The first track was a kind of psychedelic trance, with rather nondescript arrangements and the absence of any highlights, which cannot be said about the second side. The epic ”Home", consisting of five parts, is simply amazing, with its signature melodic lines and musical diversity - hard rock, blues rock, and psychedelia have not gone away, and the influence of jazz is palpable. A true feast for fans of the so-called proto-prog! ...more

FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS -YOU WERE MAD FOR ME-1964-FIRST PRESS (MONO) UK-COLUMBIA-33SX1663. A rare British original rock beat band. Mitch Murray was invited to the project, who wrote several songs for FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS, and two subsequent singles, "I'm Telling You Now" and "You Were Made For Me", took second and third place in the charts. All this happened in 1963, and their first full-length album was released in the same year. As was often the case in those days, he was named after the band, Freddie And The Dreamers. And it was a success! Those who know the history of rock music in the sixties will agree with me: not every talented band could count on such success. FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS easily occupied a niche unoccupied by other bands in the souls of the British, or rather, in a certain part of it, and the longplay took fifth place in the national charts. The second album in 1964, "You Were Mad for Me", only fueled interest in the ensemble, although there, as in the first, there was not a single song created within the band. Chuck Berry, Paul Anka, Ray Charles and others… ...more
