QUEEN-A NIGHT AT THE OPERA-1975-FIRST PRESS UK-EMI - EMTC103.Matrices A-4/B-4. A rare British original. A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the rock band Queen, released on December 2, 1975. The record was a great success: its sales reached three million, and in the UK charts it held the first position for four inconsistent weeks. The title of the album — "A Night at the Opera" — as well as the subsequent one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers, namely from the film of the same name. At each Queen concert, several songs from A Night at the Opera were necessarily performed (while "Love of My Life" was never performed in the album version). It is considered that the song "Death on Two Legs" is dedicated to the former producer of the band. "Bohemian Rhapsody" brought the band a resounding success and in 2000 was recognized in Britain as the "song of the millennium". The final album "God Save the Queen" is the anthem of Great Britain arranged by Brian May; it was this composition that invariably completed each concert of the band. A rare Japanese original of a cult album. Who Do We Think We Are is the seventh studio album by the British band Deep Purple, released in 1973. Deep Purple's last album with vocalist Ian Gillan and bassist Roger Glover before the release of Perfect Strangers in 1984. The CD was recorded in July 1972 in Rome[4] and in October of the same year in Frankfurt using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio.At that time, the band was torn apart by internal conflicts and the recording of the album turned into a nightmare[4]. Ian Gillan later compared this album to The House of Blue Light in 1987: "It's the same: great songs, but a complete lack of mutual understanding among the musicians and ... weak morale."Who Do We Think We Are did not rise above the 4th position in the UK and 15th in the US charts. A rare German original of the cult album. Perfect Strangers is the eleventh studio album by British rock band Deep Purple, released on October 29, 1984. It was the most successful album recorded by the reformed "Mark II" line-up.  It was Deep Purple's first studio album in nine years, and the first with the Mk II line-up in eleven years, the last was Who Do We Think We Are in 1973. Richie Blackmore and Roger Glover came from Rainbow, Ian Gillan from Black Sabbath, Jon Lord from Whitesnake and Ian Pace from Gary Moore are backingthe group. The album was a commercial success, reaching number 5 on the UK charts and number 17 on the US Billboard 200. Perfect Strangers became only the second Deep Purple studio album to receive platinum status in the United States after the 1972 album Machine Head. The tour was so successful that the band had to book many additional dates to participate in the American arena tour, as tickets sold out very quickly. Deep Purple in Rock is the fourth studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple, released on June 5, 1970 on Harvest Records. This is the first studio album recorded with the classic band line-up called "Mark II" (a little earlier, this line-up recorded the live album Concerto for Group and Orchestra). Since this album, the band's style has changed dramatically. Deep Purple started playing hard rock almost simultaneously with such bands as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, and are considered one of the founders and classics of this genre. According to the music critic, "the record became the epicenter of destruction, a fresh stream in the rock of the 1970s and a turn in history, in which the roots of the heavy metal style were laid." Deep Purple in Rock became the band's breakthrough album in Europe and reached number four on the UK national charts, remaining on the charts for over a year. His accompanying single "Black Night" reached the 2nd line.
