A rare British original contract press in top condition. Deep Purple in Rock is the fourth studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple, released on June 5, 1970 on Harvest Records. This is the first studio album recorded with the classic band line-up called "Mark II" (a little earlier, this line-up recorded the live album Concerto for Group and Orchestra). Since this album, the band's style has changed dramatically. Deep Purple started playing hard rock almost simultaneously with such bands as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, and are considered one of the founders and classics of this genre. According to the music critic, "the record became the epicenter of destruction, a fresh stream in the rock of the 1970s and a turn in history, in which the roots of the heavy metal style were laid." Deep Purple in Rock became the band's breakthrough album in Europe and reached number four on the UK national charts, remaining on the charts for over a year. His accompanying single "Black Night" reached the 2nd line. It has been included in various lists of the best albums, including Classic Rock magazine's list of the "100 Greatest British Albums of All Time" and Q magazine's list of the "50 Best Albums of the 70s." In 2015, the American website Ultimate Classic Rock ranked the album at the top of its ranking of Deep Purple's best works. Fate of Nations is the sixth studio album by British singer Robert Plant. It was released on May 25, 1993. "From the very beginning of this project, around January 1991, right after the Manic Nirvana tour, I knew what I was going to do: go back in time, listen to [Moby] Grape, [Jefferson] Airplane, Tim Hardin, Quicksilver, Traffic and other rock musicians. These people were trying to tell the listener something by joining various traditions, with the understanding that the search was planned and intertwined in their acoustic and electronic themes. Holy Diver is the debut studio album by Dio, released in 1983. After leaving Black Sabbath, Ronnie James Dio put together a new band, which included drummer Vinnie Appisi, bassist Jimmy Bain and guitarist Vivian Campbell. Holy Diver's debut album was recorded in the style of Black Sabbath's latest works, which attracted many fans of this band to Ronnie's new band. Holy Diver reached number 13 in the UK charts and number 56 in the US (but here it went gold and subsequently platinum). "Gold" is the fourth studio album by Soviet, American and Russian author-performer Willy Tokarev, released in 1983 on the Sava Recording Corporation label in the USA. The producer is Willy Tokarev. At the age of 40, in 1974, Willy Tokarev emigrated to the United States with $100 in his pocket. He was sheltered for 2-3 weeks by the Tolstoy Foundation, headed by Alexandra Tolstaya, daughter of Leo Tolstoy. There he was a courier, a cleaner in a bakery, sorted through the Russian library of a millionaire, a newspaper deliveryman, became unemployed because he did not know English well, so he began to learn the language by reading American newspapers, graduated from a nurse's course, learned to drive a car, passed a taxi driving test and began working as a taxi driver to earn money for recording records, writing songs in his spare time, he was robbed four times (once, on Christmas Day, he was almost killed by a black man).
