MOORE GARY-WILD FRONTIER-1987-FIRST PRESS UK-10 RECORDS- DIX56. A rare British original by a great guitarist. Wild Frontier is the sixth solo studio album by Northern Irish guitarist Gary Moore, released on March 2, 1987. This is his first studio work after returning to his native Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1985. The album contains several songs about Ireland. The album is dedicated to the memory of Moore's close friend and former Thin Lizzy member Phil Lynott, who died on January 4, 1986. It says "Philippe" on the back cover. Wild Frontier contains the hit single "Over the Hills and Far Away", which reached number 20 in the UK, as well as a cover version of the Easybeats song "Friday on My Mind". Max Middleton's song "The Loner" was originally recorded by Cozy Powell for his album Over the Top in 1979 (on which Moore performed, although not on Powell's recording of "The Loner"). Moore significantly changed the track for his recording, so he is listed as a co-author. The song "Crying in the Shadows", which was released as the B-side of the single "Over the Hills and Far Away" in December 1986 and featured as a bonus track on the Wild Frontier CD, was also recorded by Japanese singer Minako Honda under the name "The Cross (Ai No Jujika)"with Moore as the guitarist.

GENESIS-WIND AND WUTHERING-1976-THE FIRST UK PRESS-CHARISMA - CDS4005. Matrixes A-2/B-3. A rare British original of the cult band.  Wind and Wuthering is the eighth studio album by the English progressive rock band Genesis. It was released on December 17, 1976 on Charisma Records and is their last studio album featuring guitarist Steve Hackett. After the success of their 1976 tour in support of their previous album, A Trick of the Tail, the band moved to Hilvarenbeek in the Netherlands to record their next album, their first recorded outside the UK. Writing and recording caused internal friction, as Hackett felt that some of his contributions had been rejected in favor of material by keyboardist Tony Banks. The album received a positive response from critics and boosted the band's popularity in the United States. It reached No. 7 in the UK and No. 26 in the US and sold steadily, eventually receiving Gold Certification from the British Phonographic Institute and the Recording Industry Association of America. The single "Your Own Special Way" became the band's first single on the US charts, peaking at 62nd place. ...more

The first album of the famous band, a rare British original. The Electric Light Orchestra is the debut studio album by the English rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), released in December 1971 in the United Kingdom by Harvest Records. In the United States, the album was released in March 1972 under the title "No Answer" after a United Artists Records employee misunderstood a phone call and asked for the album's name; the caller, unable to contact ELO, wrote "no answer" in his notes, and this was misinterpreted as the album's title. The album is dedicated to the main trio of Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan, who were the remaining members of the rock band The Move. The Move continued to release singles in the UK at the same time that the project was launched, but interest in Wood's former band soon waned. In fact, The Move's latest album, Message from the Country, was recorded simultaneously with The Electric Light Orchestra. ...more

BOWIE, DAVID-STAGE (2 LP'S)-1978-FIRST PRESS UK-RCA- PL02913(2) A rare double concert by a British legend. Stage is the second live album by English musician David Bowie, recorded during the Isolar II Tour and released on RCA Records in 1978. The recording was made at concerts in Philadelphia, Providence, and Boston, USA, in late April and early May 1978. It mainly included material from Bowie's last studio albums at that time, "Station to Station", "Low" and "Heroes" (both 1977), but also contained five songs from "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars" (1972). In addition to Bowie's main band, consisting of Carlos Alomar, Dennis Davis and George Murray, the band included former Frank Zappa member Adrian Belew on guitar, Simon House from Hawkwind on electric violin, Roger Powell, best known for working with Todd Rundgren in the band Utopia, on keyboards and Sean Mays on piano, string ensemble and backing vocals. They all reunited the following year on Bowie's next studio album Lodger (1979). Stage was a commercial success. In the UK, she took 5th place in the charts and subsequently received a gold certificate from the British Phonogram Producers Association (BPI). It also reached number 44 on the US charts. ...more
