DUSTANS-1976-THE FIRST UK PRESS -BTM-.1007 .  A rare British original of a cult album. Blind Dog at St. Dunstans is the seventh studio album by the Canterbury rock band Caravan. It was released in 1976. This album sounds lighter than previous Caravan releases, it has more short, "pop" songs. The lightness of the sound is partly due to the fact that there is a lot of Pie Hastings in the album. He wrote and performed eight of the nine songs. Although several band members have been replaced since the release of their first album, most notably singer Ray Owen and lead guitarist Neil Hubbard, the album is considered a very strong follow-up to the first album.. It was written by band members Walter Becker and Donald Feigen and recorded in August 1972 at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles with producer Gary Katz.
