The first copies went on sale and began to be recalled for production, because the high bass led to poor quality cartridges (heads) malfunctioning, which forced people to return the album, believing that it was defective. Then another sound engineer was hired to redo a much less "hot" version of the album, and this is a common version..Houses of the Holy is the fifth studio album by British rock band Led Zeppelin, released on March 28, 1973 on Atlantic Records.
