Nightflight to Venus is the third studio album by Euro-Caribbean band Boney M., released in July 1978. The album became a major success in continental Europe, Scandinavia and Canada, topping most album charts in the second half of 1978, and also became their first number one album in the UK. In Canada, the album received a nomination for the 1980 Juno Award in the International Album of the Year category. Nightflight to Venus includes the worldwide hits "Rivers of Babylon" and "Brown Girl in the Ring", a two-sided single that topped the UK singles chart and sold over 2 million copies.[4] The sequel was another Boney M. classic, "Rasputin", which in most countries was also performed on the double A side in combination with "Painter Man", a cover version of the 1966 hit by The Creation. In the UK, "Rasputin" and "Painter Man" were released separately as A-sides by Atlantic Records, both entering the Top 10. A very rare original of the cult album..Tourism: Songs from Studios, Stages, Hotelrooms and Other Strange Places is the fourth studio album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released on August 28, 1992 by EMI. Despite the fact that Roxette was often mistaken for a live album, the album was described in its comments as a "touring album": the band recorded most of their material in numerous recording studios in between concerts of their world-famous band " Join the Joyride! Excursion". The album contains three live concert recordings, while another track was recorded live in an empty nightclub in Sao Paulo. Two more tracks were recorded in Buenos Aires' The Alvear Palace Hotel.The album received mixed reviews from American publications upon its release, with some confusing its concept and incorrectly describing it as containing only five previously unreleased songs. It also underperformed the Billboard 200, peaking at number 117 on the chart and selling about 278,000 copies-far short of the million-dollar joyride.
