The album reached the top # 36 in Billboard's Top LP chart and # 41 in the album chart in the UK . The title track was released as a single in October 1969, reaching moderate success on the Billboard Hot 100 . The second single taken from the album " Jesus Is Just Alright ", was released in December 1969, but he managed to reach No. 97 on the Billboard Hot 100.
