WHAM (GEORGE MICHAEL AND ANDREW RIDGELEY) - THE FINAL-1986-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-HOLLAND -EPIC-EPC88681. The Final album in 1986, British Duo Wham!. In the UK was the third and last Studio album. (In North America and Japan did not come out. There instead then issued a single album Music from the Edge of Heaven. The Final included many of the same songs that were on Music from the Edge of Heaven, and in addition the biggest hits.) In his (modern) review on the website AllMusic music critic Jose F. promis praises this album as the "most accurate/precise (accurate) hits duet", noting that it contains exactly those versions that were released on singles and some of which albums to buy was impossible. WAKEMAN, RICK-RHAPSODIES-1979-FIRST UK PRESS-A&M - AMLX68508. Matrix A-3/B-3/C-3/D-4. Rare British original cult keyboardist of progressive music. "Rhapsodies" (Rhapsody) - the 8th album by Rick Wakeman (double), includes Rhapsody works as the Rick and some other authors. Recorded this album in 1978 and early 1979 in a home Studio Wakeman "La Grange Studios", as well as in Switzerland, in the Studio, "Mountain Studios" (Montreux). Produced by Tony Visconti (previously worked with David Bowie, Marc bolana group "sparks"), he played acoustic guitar. The release took place in may 1979 on the label of A&M. Critics praised this album's different, but relatively low compared to previous albums. Sam Wakeman said that he did not plan to create something outstanding, he just tired from the countless tours with the band "Yes" and decided to relax, doing exactly the music which he at that moment was like. Immediately after the release, he terminated the contract with A&M, and the following album was released on Charisma Records. ...more
