Bananas — the seventeenth Studio album by British rock band Deep Purple, released in 2003, and their first Studio album, recorded without Jon Lord on keyboards. David Jeffries from the site Allmusic.com gave the album four stars out of five. A critic noticed that the CD "has all the signs of frustration": it is missing the keyboard parts of Jon Lord, always give sound Deep Purple special color, and the title and cover too eccentric. Being produced after which enjoyed great success album, Tug of War, Pipes of Peace was received by the public is also quite good and many songs from it became hits, but music critics have made the album much cooler than a Tug of War..When the album was released, many critics noted that Pipes of Peace is similar to its predecessor, the album Tug of War, in many ways.
