A rare original of the cult album of one of the founders of the new wave.Forever Young is the debut Studio album by German Synthpop band Alphaville, released on September 27, 1984 by Warner Music Group. The album was preceded by the release of several singles — "Big In Japan" in January, Sounds Like A Melody in may, and Forever Young in September, just before the album's release. The album sold over 2,000,000 copies. The song Forever Young did not initially become a popular hit, but has since been considered a classic of the 1980s. Some copies of German vinyl albums were enclosed with large posters.
