The album was recorded in the fall of 1973 and released in 1974 on the Warner Bros. label .Records. It was the first of two albums released by the band on the Warner label. When Badfinger were finishing work on their last album for Apple Records, Ass, the band's Manager, Stan Polley, signed them to a three-year, six-album deal with Warner Bros.Records. As a result, shortly after the band and producer Chris Thomas completed recording Ass , they returned to the Studio to make a new album for Warner. Originally scheduled for release on December 28, 1973, the album was delayed due to Ass being released the same month. After the release of Badfinger has received an unfavorable review in Rolling Stone magazine. The UK single released after the album "Love is Easy" failed to chart. The instrumental track "Dunluce" is named after Dunluce castle in Northern Ireland.On "Led Clones", the vocals are performed by Ozzy Osbourne, who Moore worked with before the singer started working with Randy Rhodes. Bananas — the seventeenth Studio album by British rock band Deep Purple, released in 2003, and their first Studio album, recorded without Jon Lord on keyboards. David Jeffries from the site Allmusic.com gave the album four stars out of five. A critic noticed that the CD "has all the signs of frustration": it is missing the keyboard parts of Jon Lord, always give sound Deep Purple special color, and the title and cover too eccentric. However, he said, surprisingly, really amazing album: Lord successfully replaced don Airey, the songs perfectly listen to the vocals of Ian Gillan are still good and the sound quality doesn't cause complaints. It was released in August 1983 on LP and cassette. The album was recorded at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen in about 7 weeks. Bent Out of Shape will be Rainbow's last Studio album before their twelve-year hiatus from the Studio. Mega rare original of the cult group.  Wake The Sleeper is the 21st Studio album by rock band Uriah Heep, released on June 2, 2008 in Europe and August 26, 2008 in the United States. The announced release in September 2007 was postponed (initially to March 2008) as a result of the purchase of Sanctuary Records by Universal Music. This was to ensure that the album was properly promoted, not that it was "lost" during the shift, and although this was unpleasant for them, the band members supported it. This is their first Studio album since 1998's Sonic Origami. FOREIGNER-4-1981-first press UK-ATLANTIC - K50796.matrix A-4/B. Foreigner 4 is the fourth Studio album by the hard rock band Foreigner, released in 1981 by Atlantic Records. The songs "Waiting for a Girl Like You", "Urgent" and "Juke Box Hero", released as the album's main singles, became hits. The CD seems to have completed the band's transition to hard rock, started in Head Games. Ian MacDonald, al Greenwood left the band before recording 4, they were not permanently replaced, and the sound of the album changed. As a result, all the songs on the album were written by Lou Gramm and/or Mick Jones. MacDonald and Grievor played saxophone and keyboards, respectively, thus needed musicians who would be able to replace them. Junior Walker's saxophone solo on "Urgent" was probably the best thing on the album. The album was also recorded by a young Thomas Dolby, who later had a successful solo career. "Urgent" was re-released in 1991. Juke Box Hero went gold in the United States, and the single peaked at number 26 on the Billboard 200 ...more
