Pendulum is the sixth Studio album by American band Creedence Clearwater Revival, recorded at Wally Hyder studios in San Francisco and released on the Fantasy label in December 1970. Pendulum is the last CCR album to feature rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, who left the band shortly after the album's release. The record demonstrates the group's desire to expand their own stylistic framework, a number of his compositions are musically much more complex than the CCR recordings of 1968-1969. The most ambitious of the band's seven albums, Pendulum was recorded for about a month — twice as long as the other records.
