Rare German original on colored vinyl. Music for the Masses is the sixth Studio album by British band Depeche Mode, released on 28 September 1987. The record led the band to mainstream success in the US for the first time since Some Great Reward. The album has a less experimental sound, but Alan Wilder paid more attention to arrangements and samples when recording the album. You can also hear a lot of full-fledged guitar parts in the album's tracks. The sound and style on Music for the Masses is significantly different from previous works by Depeche Mode — the songs have a disturbing and melancholic sound. Music for the Masses led to a surge in the popularity of Depeche Mode in the US. The songs "Strangelove", "Never Let Me Down Again", "Behind the Wheel" and "Little 15" became world hits. The album peaked at number 10 in the UK , number 2 in Germany, and number 30 in the US. ...more

Four discs were released with rare and previously unreleased songs: 1993 Tattoo. (Code M-0004). 1993 Wording. (Code M-0011). 1994 But I don't regret it. (Code M-0092). 1994 Talk to me at least. (Code M-0093). It was commissioned by the Vladimir Vysotsky Foundation, but after the release of the first two albums, the Foundation ran out of money and refused to Finance it. Aprelevka releases at its own expense several hundred pieces of the third and fourth album to pay for the preparation of albums.  The third and fourth discs are extremely rare and are welcome rarities of the master's work.  ...more

It was released in August 1983 on LP and cassette. The album was recorded at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen in about 7 weeks. Bent Out of Shape will be Rainbow's last Studio album before their twelve-year hiatus from the Studio. It also proved to be the band's last Studio album with vocalist Joe Lynn Turner, bassist Roger Glover, and keyboardist David Rosenthal, as well as their only drummer, Chuck Burgee, who replaced Bobby Rondinelli shortly before the album was recorded.  The album went high on the charts : Sweden-6th place, Norway - 6th place, UK-11th place, Germany-25th place, Billboard 200 - 34th place. ...more
