Released on Epic Records on August 31, 1987, the album was produced by Jackson and Quincy Jones-Bad was their third and final collaboration. The songs on the album are composed in the genres of funk, rhythm and Blues, gospel, pop rock, hard rock, swing and Blues. Jackson wrote nine of the eleven songs on the final track list. A rare British second edition of the cult album in prog music.  Fish Rising is the debut solo album by British progressive guitarist Steve Hillage, recorded and released in 1975. The album was recorded on the eve of hillage's departure from Gong, and many artists on this album represent The band, including bassist Mike Howlett, drummer Pierre Merlin, keyboardist Tim Blake, and saxophonist Didier Malherbe. Hilledge wrote some of the material for his former band Khan, and in the lyrics and sound, Hilledge also developed the ideas and mythology of Gong.
